#1 raumulamon Mar 26, 2008 21:19:55	Hey everyone, I am playing a campaign right now where I have to create a 9th level character and I originally looked at creating an Incantatrix. I thought about playing a Wiz3/MasterSpecialist3/Incantatrix3 with maxed out Spellcraft using familiar, magic items and an item familiar when I got to thinking. What about having an Incantatrix as a Cohort? It's not that hard to max out Spellcraft even as a supporting character and with the 'Improved Cohort' feat it would only lag one level behind my main. By 8th level my Incantatrix could have Extend, Empower, and Maximize Meta Magic feats and would get Persist or Twin spell at level 9 with enough Spellcraft to power them at least into the mid spell levels. My question would be what kind of main caster would be best with this type of combo? I thought that primarily a evoker/blaster would be good or perhaps a conjuration specialist or even a generalist wizard but I am unsure which direction would be the best. The role of this dynamic duo would be primarily damage dealing and battlefield control as the rest of the part consists of a; Radiant servant of Pelor Dual Wielding (Dwarven Axe) fighter Trapsmith rogue Spirit Shaman Do you have any other suggestions as far as meta magic feats for the Incantatrix cohort, or any class suggestions for my main Caster?
#2 raumulamon Mar 27, 2008 20:31:13	Well, after consideration I am going to take my main as an Ultimate Magus. I figure the synergy between the UMs 'Augmented Casting' and the Incantatrixs 'Co-operative Metamagic' would be pretty nasty.
