Hello,

Im going to start a campaing very soon and i was "gifted" (basically my DM said: you will be the wizard!) and this is my first Wizard in so many years playing D&D. Always played Rogues (best classsssss!!), clerics and warriors.

Looking for some good PrC i was looking at the Blood Magus (nice flavor) but it gets weak in Magic coz 2 lvl's missed in the Wizard progresion.

Then i came up over the Incantrix 3.5 and im trying to find some information about the PrC. I can see the PrC a bit hard to maximize the use of all the abilities... but there is the challenge. :D

Someone knows about some Handbook or thread (i cant find any deep information about the PrC?).

thx in advance and sorry for my poor english but this isn't my mother language!!

Hm. I'm surprised. Nothing really jumps at me.
Basically, ability to get metamagic cheaper is Just That Good.

Extend->Persist

Empower+Twin

Quicken.

incantatrix takes really nothing to optimize. just take a bunch f good metamagic feats and get them all for free. your character will be so broken its not even funny. A common build is wizard 5/incantatrix 10/haluran elder 5. haluran elder is in the shining south book. good metamagic feats to take will be extend persistent empower maximize quicken twin and repeat spell. might also want energy substitution acid and possibly energy admixture. other good feats will be practical metamagic and anything else to lower the cost of metamagic feats. theres also a feat in the lost empires of faerun that lets you gain a banned school back again. thats about it. you might also want to read treantmonks guide to being a god and logic ninjas guide to being batman for good ideas on how to use spells.
