#1 kitrack May 10, 2008 16:12:48	I am trying to make a 14th level incarnate for a one-shot that I'll play in soon. I'm generally the DM so I'm out-of-practice making characters. I have never used Magic of Incarnum but this may be the only chance I get to do so. The other members of the party Abjurer/Master Specialist/Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil Favored Soul Druid/Fighter (something similar)
#2 sinfire_titan May 10, 2008 16:30:25	The thing about the LN Incarnate is that it really likes having 4 attacks a round. Warforged with Jaws of Death or Second Slam, Kobold with the Web Enhancement, Skarn with a level-dip into Spinemeld Warrior, what have you. Typical melds will vary depending on the primary focus you want each character to have. If you want Tanks, then I know the melds. If you want skill monkeys, then have nothing but bonus-granting melds. And if you want to cover the Healer or Arcane Caster, Max CC Ranks into UMD, keep the Monocles shaped, and get a ton of magic items like Wands, Staffs, Rods, etc. But other than that, Double Chakra, Expanded Soulmeld Capacity, and thats really all you will need. You can actually survive with the lower Essentia, believe it or not.
#3 cyrocloud May 10, 2008 16:51:39	If I were you I would try and play to the natural strengths of each incarnate alignment. So I would focus the LN char to be a two wep fighter, so two +1 aptitude light maces. So maybe feats like (1) TWF (b) Combat Reflexes (3) Weap focus (light maces) (6) leadership (9) bonus essentia (12) Necrocarnum acolyte. If you wanted too you could switch out Combat refelxes if you were serpents armor for MIC. Then just grap a few melds to boost your HP and Attack bonus. I guess for stats I'd use str 10 dex 17 (+1 levels) con 18 (+2 levels) int 10 wis 10 cha 8. NG incarnates are mainly tanks so maybe put some heavy armor and such on him sword a broad style with a incarnate weapon, but the druid and favored soul probably will be better as tanks so maybe you should use this one to be more of the skill monkey of the group. So focus on soul melds that give you bonuses to skills and such. So you might want stats like str 9 (+1 level) dex 12 con 18 (+2 levels) int 14 wis 10 cha 14.
