That looked more like an NE Azurin Incarnate to me. But Rilkans are the least optimal for any Incarnum-based character. They literally get next to nothing to boost their Meldshaping, and really don't even make good skill monkeys. They are more suited for Bard/Archivist than any other class because of their Knowledge boosts. And even then, there are better choices.

Also, don't use Truenaming unless you plan on specializing in it. You have to boost the hell out of the checks and spend a feat just to take ranks in it (unless you are going to play Factotum to 20th).

Duskling or Azurin Rogue/Swordsage into Umbral Disciple. If you go SS, try and squeeze in Shadow Sun Ninja all the way to 10th. UD is an ok PrC, but most of the later level abilities are worthless (Soulchilling Strike in particular is junk, as Undead/Constructs are the only things that will fail the save on a regular basis, and they are immune to the damage in the first place). A decent build is:

Duskling Unarmored Swordsage 2/Totemist 5/Shadow Sun Ninja 10/Umbral Disciple 3

Feats:
All needed for SSN, plus any you feel would help you.

Focus: Use the Duskling's natural Speed to pull a demi-Chuck with Setting Sun maneuvers. You'll be nowhere near the original, but you will be pretty damn effective for what you do. Nab any soulmelds that grab bonuses to Trip attempts, and max the Essentia in them. Umbral Disciple is there for the Embrace of Shadow and next-to HiPS ability it grants. You just keep throwing the enemies without them ever seeing where it came from.

The main problem with the Rilkan Substitution Level is that it slows your Sneak Attack advancement in exchange for improving your flanking ability, which you can get the same effect from playing a Kenku, and not slow the Sneak Attack, or by spending a feat for Vexing Flanker from PH2. This makes the sub-level so much more inadequate, as it doesn't say what happens if you have Vexing Flanker and the sub-level (they do nothing together otherwise). That, and the ability is obsolete with a different race's ability.

what about a few levels of warblade to get some tob yummy-ness(this word kinda makes me happy). tho using the pic to help build the char swordsage(shadow hand) would be better. and instead of incranate what about the totomist(SP). The boost to bab would be worth the loss in melds i think.
my .02$(also i never realized a keyboard did not have a cents symble...never have had to use it befor...hmmm)

I was actually talking about the 3rd level sub. level, which loses Trap Sense for Bardic Knowledge and a Bonus Feat from a small list... Azurin is probably better, it's just that I'd like to get Bardic Knowledge, if it doesn't hurt the build.

Also, given even a single level of Factotum, I can get 12 Ranks in Truespeak at level 9.

I'll look into your suggestions for tripping and tossing, but I'd like a source of damage as well. SSN is a great suggestion, thanks!

Ah. I forgot about being able to pick which levels you want for sub-levels. Need to remember that. Still, it is better not to bother with Truespeak. The ability is too nerfed for a non-Truenamer. Iajutsu Focus would be a better idea, but you are trying to mimic an ability.

And the source of damage behind the mini-Chuck is Tornado Throw, which you can easily get through Shadow Sun Ninja.

Tornado Throw is a 9th level Maneuver... I want this to be playable WAY before that.

Word Given Form isn't a feat (you just need to have all the feats that make it up and 12 ranks in Truespeak) - it gives you Total Concealment (constant) against your Dodge target. Pretty sweet, no? It needs Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Combat Expertise, Imp. Unarmed Strike and maybe something else, IIRC.

Combine Word Given Form with one of those feats (Desert Wind Dodge, maybe)? that makes everyone your dodge target...

Maybe you should get a level or more of exemplar in there? Will increase your Truespeak quite reasonably and would allow you to take 10 using the skill ....

No, it won't, and no, it wouldn't.

Once a skill is a class skill, it keeps the maximum cap forever. What's more, the ability to "Take 10" granted by any class feature only allows you to use it in-combat if it were possible outside it - you can't use it on Truespeak, UMD and the like...

Examplar is rather useless here, especially since I don't ever make Truespeak checks.

Do you think the Fedaykin have Bardic Knowledge?

Do you think the Fedaykin have Bardic Knowledge?

Not at all, no. I was going for Paul's gifts with that (the ability the Mothers get)... It's not that useful, I suppose, just cool RPwise.

Maybe I can make it a Swiftblade build? That would fit nicely, especially if I can pick up a few goodies on the way... That's one of the few non-full casting PrCs I like.

to pull a demi-Chuck with Setting Sun maneuvers.

Doesn't work - you don't qualify for 9th level maneuvers, and iirc Tornado Throw is the only one where movement factors into the check.

Ring of Fire, a Desert Wind maneuver, is also movement based(for area, not damage).

Thematically, you could justify them having Desert Wind maneuvers. They SO have Swordsage levels. Light armor with good AC? Must be a little Wisdom in there somewhere. :D

Ashworm Dragoon.

Damn, beat me to it :D. An Ashworm Dragoon Supermount build does wonders.

Where is that? I can't find it.

EDIT: Got it.

Is there a feat that allows you to get everyone as your Dodge selection?
