Well the title sums the topic quite right.

I'm working on a build that uses both incantatrix and initate of the sevenfold.

So far I've found a way and got an approval from the DM to quilfy for Incantatrix at level 2 via Quickstep and Sanctum Spell / Precious Apprentice. (Please let's not discuss the validity of this entry here since it's not the puprse of this thread.) I'm aware that I can go full Incan and Sevenfold at the end however my gaol is to get
Wiz 1 / Incan 3 / Initate 7 / back to incantatrix.
I'm playing as a human have burned the four feats at level one to gain the entry, argubly I could try and somehow pass Otyugh's Hole at level one in addition to taking on another flaw without the benefit or some such which free's up an extra feat - (Skill Focus (Spellcraft), which takes care of one the prereq, first level Incan gives Spell Focus (Abjuration) so that's one more which leaves Greater Spell Focus (Abjuration) at 3rd.)  If the goal to enter Intiate at 5 can't be achived (which I reckon it  can't) I'd like to enter as close to it as possible. Also at level one during Quickstep I've allocated 12 ranks to Knowledge (Arcane) and Spellcraft so that's not the issue. The main issue is casting 4th level spells.

Also a nice closer suggestion would be appriciated. Wiz 1 / Incantatrix 10 / Initate 7 / whatever 3
or a change in the setup leaving Incantatrix at 3 which leaves aditional 10 levels.

Yes it's cheesy but the campaign is supposed to be high powered (non-gestalt) and excluding the various game-breaking bits.

All suggestions are welcome

As far as I know you cannot allocate 12 ranks to any skills pre 9th level.

i was going to say its just not the spell casting abilities that matter here you need skill ranks.  its just not possible per raw to get them that early

If you found a bard with Inspire Greatness, Words of Creation, and Song of the Heart (which, judging by build advice around here should be ALL of them), and a Psion friend with Psychic Reformation, you could gain 5 temporary HD from Inspire Greatness (2 base, doubled to 4 with WoC +1 from Song of the Heart) and then use Psychic Reformation to reallocate 5 skill points away from things like misc Knowledges into Spellcraft and Knowledge Arcana to meet the prereqs.

Now, thats heavily dependant on DM permission, but in theory it is possible to get in 5 levels early.  Primary Contact + Favored Contact could get you in 1 level early, but thats a lot of feats for an already feat heavy build.

I could've sworn Inspire Greatness doesn't grant skill points.

It doesn't.  You take the skill points that you had already aquired and reallocate them with Psychic Reformation.  You need to have enough skill points to reasign, but that shouldn't be hard for an int based wizard.

The technique I used is find a wizard to polymoprh me into a Dusk Giant, use Canibilize to gain HD, when I'm at 9 HD use psychic reformation from another NPC and allocate 12 ranks.

I can't seem to remember at this point but I could've sworn that I saw a feat somewhere that grants +1 to spellcasting but for the life of me can't remember where.

Thats a cheap way to "cheat" the rules. Whenever I DMed I never allowed such methods, they cheat the very spirit of the system.

As I said in my first post let's not make this thread into the validity of the entry or it's "moral" value. Now considering we want a high powered game and the fact that the other characthers include a Planar Sheperd and a Dweomerkeeper with an agreement not to use their powers to achive game breaking. (You can also admit that we all want to try a campagin while playing one of those classes so we agreed to do a campagin with all of them to get it out of our systems )

On a side note the "cheating" can be implenented into the bacground quite nicely. On the top of my mind something like.

Let's call the carather "Mickey"

Mickey was a child casting prodigy and it was told he would become one of the future most powerful wizards. He was attending one of the more prominents magi guilds for his training. Wizard masters  allowed him to roam the guild vaults free as hope of furthering his talents.being a curious little bastard he enjoyed this honor and this one time he stumbled onto a sphere hidden in one of the cupboards. Natuarly the urge to open it was overwhelming and once he touched it poor Mickey found himself transformed into an a Dusk Giant. Trashing some of the vault until he found the door he advanced through the halls until reaching the kitchen where he proceded to kill everyone in sight. However he somehow escaped from the guild and started to roam through the streets. He attacked a drunk on his way out of the bar who unfourtnutly was a psion albeit a drunk one. In his state he didn't have full control of his powers and he fired the first thing he could concentrate on (Psychic Reformation). Mickey found himself confused and his mind began racing. He fell to the ground and dropped unconcious soon reverting to his true form (Polymorph runs out). The guard found him and circled him carefuly and waited for his Wizard masters  to appear.  He was accused of several murders and was given a choice either be sentenced to life long imprisonment or be subjcet to the horrors of a magical prison (Otyugh's hole) in addition to expulsion from the Guild of the Magi.

He chooses magical prison from which he emerges later on with much more resolve. However he is ashamed of his actions and looked upon with scorn in his homeland... etc. etc.

He gains flaws in accordance to his feeling and reputation (giving me the four necesssery feats) and I take an two additional flaws due to gaing entry to Otyugh's hole sooner the I should be able to (if that's the way I'll do it). Flaws which are also a chance for better roleplay (which is really the bit why we all play this game).

The story has some holes granted but again this is off the top of my head and I'm sure I'll think of some reason why I was able to use quickstep.

At this point, you might as well use the dark chaos feat shuffle and earth spell.

Without turning this into a Houserule Board thread ... in which case the rules don't really matter ...
The technique I used is find a wizard to polymoprh me into a Dusk Giant, use Canibilize to gain HD, when I'm at 9 HD use psychic reformation from another NPC and allocate 12 ranks.

Right, Dr Rocktopus used this for more goodies.
It'll last as long as the Polymorph lasts.
PAO also works.

As far as I understand it. You lose the HD yeah, but the ranks remain unless you recast Psychic Reformation.

As far as I can see your biggest hurdle is getting 3rd and 4th lvl spells to meet prereqs.
