However, if this is for a game, I would think that you would need to get with your DM and work-out the details -- since both the feat and the substitution levels were designed with a standard paladin in mind, I would think that the whole thing would need a little re-working, to at least account for the different levels at which you get the different abilities. If the sub. levels are allowed, then the feat has to be good. Here's the deal: while I guess that it is possible, I would think that it would make things a little screwy, given the nature of how the prestige paladin works. But hey -- a paladin is a paladin, right? |

Interesting idea actually-- I usually go with Myrkul as the "dead god" in my FR Ur-Priests, but having an evil follower of one of the two old Mystras (though one would need to be a lich or something for the older one), could be very interesting. You would basically need to assassinate the current goddess in order to revive one of the older ones in all likelihood. That could be an amusing backstory for the spellplague-- it was created by a disgruntled archmage/ur-priest/mystic theurge of Mystra in order to kill off the current deity. ![]() |
