Is Slashing Flurry worth it?

Hey all,
I'm currently working on a 14th level fighter and need some advice.
The concept is a TWF who uses his shield to deliver a wicked backhand.

Feats
Improved Shield Bash
Shield Specialization: Heavy
WF: Longsword
Shield Ward
Endurance
WS: Longsword
Steadfast Determination
Agile Shield Fighter
GWF: Longsword
IC: Longsword
MWM: Slashing
GWS: Longsword
Power Attack
Slashing Flurry

My question is "Is Slashing Flurry really worth it?"
With SF and ASF all his attacks would be at a -7 to hit (-5 for SF and -2 for ASF)

Example:
His current attack bonus (Without Slashing Flurry) would be:
Longsword: +26/+21/+16
Shield: +20

With SF it would be:
Longsword: +21/+21/+16/+11
Shield: +15

Thanks,
V

At level 14? It's ok, but it could be higher...

Why don't you take a 2 level dip in Ranger for TWF, then wear Gloves of the Balanced hand. (Which grant you ITWF if you already have TWF, or TWF if you do not have it.)

Generally, I feel it is useful only when you are not using the full-attack action.

For instance, if you expect to normally be limited to just 1 attack (say via spring attack or using tome of battle maneuvers), then it will be useful because you are normally limited to only 1 attack at your highest bab (so the -5 penalty from slashing flurry is less of an issue since you can likely still hit consistently, and will actually be worth it, as you are potentially doubling your damage output).

And because I will rarely be using the full-attack action, I will likely be favouring 2-handed weapons instead.

But when full-attacking, -5 to each attack seems like a very harsh penalty to swallow, IMO, especially since the overall damage increment is very small (1 extra attack at the expense of nerfing your other 4.

So if you expect to routinely use the full-attack option, I do not believe it is worth it at all in your case.

If you have a very high to-hit bonus (such as from Knowledge Devotion or Snowflake Wardance - hell, you could have both), Slashing Flurry is absolutely worth it. I've been toying with the idea of a xeph dual-wielding Eagle Claws (Sandstorm) and using Slashing Flurry - since eagle claws have a flurry-like ability (through a feat) and the xephs can get the Xeph Celerity feat, that would be 3 extra attacks a round before counting TWF. Shou Disciple + Snap Kick could up that for 5 extra attacks + TWF tree. The problem is - too feat starved.
