I'm making a character based a little on the "I may be tiny, but you're dead" thread, and i've got 8 levels left to play around with. I'd like to keep as close to full bab as i can, and also have something to guard against area of effect spells. All books are allowed, though no psionics or dragon magazine.

Here's the build so far:
Samurai4/Fighter2/Marshal1/Iaijutsu Master5/
Stoutheart Halfling- +2 dex, -2 str
old aged- +2 cha, wis, int, -2 str, dex, con

Feats
1Skill Focus (Iaijutsu focus)
1Improved Initiative
1Quick Draw
2 Weapon Focus (Katana)
3 Item Familiar
4 Nymph's Kiss(vampire hunter)
5 Combat Expertise
6 Giantbane
6 Goad
9 Underfoot Combat
11 Improved trip
12 Confound the Big Folk

Note: He's blind, vampire hunter is an alternative if he's used in a ravenloft campaign game, and goad and combat expertise can be subbed out for something else if need be. Also, the old age is for flavor (why is it in DND that when people get older, they see and hear better?)

I was also thinking of switching some things around, get a ring of evasion, and just taking 10 levels of ghost faced killer but if something better can be found, sweet.

...don't really think that fits with the theme of the build, but thanks.

If you can use LA buyoff, there's also the Shadow Creature template from Lords of Madness. That's what I suggested using for a Dread Fang of Lolth/Iaijutsu Master build.

Since we're talking about this, could someone please tell me where I find the rule that states that a Ring of Evasion works in all kinds of armor?
Thanks.

Evasion
This ring continually grants the wearer the ability to avoid damage as if she had evasion. Whenever she makes a Reflex saving throw to determine whether she takes half damage, a successful save results in no damage.

Moderate transmutation; CL 7th; Forge Ring, jump; Price 25,000 gp.

Mentions nothing about wearing armor. Note also that it says nothing like "..just as the rogue/monk class feature".

Old age penalties are cumulative, so it'd actually be +2 Int, Wis, Cha and -3 Str, Dex, and Con. If he's blind he's always going to have a 50% miss chance. Part of me thinks you're just a troll seeing how dumb people are

Actually, I'm not. Thanks for pointing out the mistake about old age, but the blind thing is real. I should have probably mentioned that its a homebrew flaw "blind from birth" and he gets +8 listen, blindfight, and an extra feat. He's also wearing a blindfold of true darkness (the dm says it works). Did you really think I'd make him blind without having some sort of counter to it?

You should take Nymph's Kiss earlier. As for evasion, I think your best bets for it without losing BAB are either Ranger or Impulse Boots.

If your GM allows the bonus feats for the Generic Classes found in Unearthed Arcana, you can take Evasion as a feat for only +3 reflex.

Sorry where and what is this Samurai/Vampire Hunter thing? Is it in the Exp to Castle Ravenloft book? Normally Samurai is seen as a class to "never-take" but I'd like to see what you're using first.

He's obviously using Oriental Adventures' Samurai.

Yeah, samurai from complete warrior is pretty bad, but the samurai from oriental adventures is decently good. vampire hunter is in the castle ravenloft book as well as libris mortis (I think)

Oh. Oh I mean-Ofcourse! Obviously! Yes...

To OP: Well I lack Oriental Adventures so I suppose I can't comment, but since you're looking for a Full BAB and Evasion, maybe Ranger is the answer. The Vampire Hunter feat reminds me of the Nemesis Exhalted feat, which might be a little more nifty then just "immune to Gaze attacks" and applies to all undead (if you take Undead as a Favoured enemy that is).

But I, like most people would probably just buy the Ring of E as previously mentioned, it's simple and saves you class levels.
