is there a way to get blindsight or blind sense I was thinking of a rogue

Apr 22, 2008 11:59:43 The actual Darkness spell stinks in 3.5. It should more accurately be called Dimness. The Book of Vile Darkness cantrip No Light is actually better. Get a wand of that plus a Ring of Darkhidden (MiC), and you'll be invisible to anything that can't see through magical darkness. Plus, as long as you have Darkvision, you'll be able to see fine.

Only creatures with Darkvision can see in No Light (or those with True Seeing, or that can see in magical darkness, etc), and the Ring of Darkhidden makes you immune to Darkvision. :D

Apr 22, 2008 12:12:31 Four Draconic feats can give you Blindsense 20ft. The only mandatory one would be Draconic Senses (+1 listen, search, & spot/Draconic Feat. Low Light Vision, Darkvision at 3 Draconic Feats, Blindsense 20 at 4)

It was. The range was lowered, IIRC.

Apr 22, 2008 19:06:00 You could take one level of Mindbender in Complete Arcane to get telepathy 100ft. Then if you take the Mindsight feat on page 126 in Lords of Madness you sense what square anyone is in within 100ft of you whether or not you see them; plus you know their creature type.
