Hey guys, i've got a character idea that I need some help with. Its a Halfling Druid that rides its riding dog companion and attacks from its back. Because of this ill only be taking 4 lvls of Druid, as I don't want to Wild Shape. I'm gonna be using the Halfling Druid variant from RotW and I'm most likely to go into Wild plains outrider from CA.

The problem is that it requires level 6 so I need 2 levels to take before hand (I'm thinking ranger or scout) and I'm only taking 2 levels of this prestige because the 3rd level ability doesn't help me so I need another class to go into after this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ps, Can skirmish be used while mounted? if not that throws Scout out the mix.

No mounted skirmishes. Go check out the Supermount thread. I'm not suggesting using everything in there, but it will give you some ideas.

no mounted skirmishes? where does it say that? ive always assumed skirmishing is about getting into a possision where you can exploit the enemy so i thought it would be fine

Arg that sucks, can anyone link me to the errata?

But back on topic,i would look into something along the lines of-

Druid4/Beast master 3 (or more if you want more companions)/Wildplains outrider 2/Halfling outrider 5/ ??? rest

Mabye look into Halfling whistler if you want to improve spell casting.

It's in the third paragraph of the Complete Adventurer Errata

You can find all 3.5 Erratas on the Official D&D Errata page. I'd also like to recommend google, that would have answered your question immediately: Complete Adventurer Errata on google.
