So in the on-going evolution of the character I'm considering, I've decided a Barbarian/Fighter multiclass is the way that I am probably going to go:  Barbarian for the cool d12 hp, the ability to rage, and more; fighter for the abundance of feats.

He's going to be a sort of SWAT character:  he's going to pepper his enemies from far away with ranged attacks and finally move in when they are suitably weakened.

I am wanting everyone's opinions as the usual:  go with a composite longbow with dex as first priority stat, strength 2nd, and weapon finesse (and a rapier as a melee weapon), or javelins and axes with Str as first priority and dex as second?

There's a feat somewhere that gives you STR to ranged AB, which might be handy.

I think its either brutal throw or power throw.

Those are both from complete adventurer. Brutal throw lets you use Str on attack rolls, brutal throws allows you to use power attack on those attacks.
