| #1kalai_eljahnOct 26, 2008 14:39:44 | I'm in a good-aligned party with a crusader, a cleric of Pelor (healing focused), a wall-crazed wizard, a duskblade, and a psion who believes he's the messiah. And...that's about all I know about my fellow characters. xD Starting level's 9. We're going with 32-point buy, average hit points, fractional save/base attack bonuses and whatever variant classes we feel like using. A flaw/trait/feat combo or two would probably be all right as well. I'm thinking rogue 5 / fighter (sneak attack variant) 1/ assassin 3, focusing on two-weapon fighting... With fractional bab you'll want something like this: Rogue 4/ Swarshbuckler 2/ Swordsage 2/ Swashbuckler +1 Grab daring outlaw at level 9 Use assassin's stance, shadow blade, and penetrating strike. 5d5 SA, dex to attack and damage, only two level feats required (get ITWF from gloves of the balanced hand for now). Stat priority: Dex>Con=Int>Wis>Str>Cha |

| #4peejayOct 27, 2008 16:56:36 | Can you steal Champions of Ruin from someone? (You can have mine. :P ) Because if you can, I'd suggest you drop Quick Draw (unless you're a thrower, it's not really necessary) and take the Craven feat. You get a -2 penalty Vs fear effects, but add to your sneak attack 1 damage per character level - in your case +9. Or, if all your attacks hit while hasted and flanking, +45 damage per round. Also, of all possible flaws, you picked Weak Will? Having dumped wisdom and ending up with a negative modifier? Are you determined to fail every single will save you make for fluff reasons or something? If not, I'd reconsider it. ![]() |

Which, from her perspective, is a terrible reason to dump Will ... but she is woefully easily manipulated ... and now I find out we might have a succubus in the party. xDThat ... looks like a fun feat. I'm not sure if any of us have the book... |
