So, your walking down the street and sudden a kobold jumps out at you...

What would make you fear the most?

(restrictions)
Kobold
lvl 7
55,000g (no more than 6k on any 1 item)
Any "regular" (read complete, setting, etc) classes/feats.

Hoping for some sort of insane spellcasterish/pyro sort. Was thinking possibly warlock or something of the sort... you know, the kind of kobold that would make a party cringe and cry for mommy...

Well at that level

Sorcerer 5/Prc 2

with, Dragonwrought, Loredrake, and Draconic Rite of Passage you will be casting 5th level spells (7+2+1=10 levels of spellcasting), while the normal wizard would just now be gaining 4th level spells.

-----

My personal favorite build though would be the above build, with a level of mindbender followed by levels in Ur Priest and Mystic Theurge. You are gaining spells at the same level as a wizard following level 6, as well as gaining divine spellcasting.

Wild Mage is crap in the longhaul, but it can be a nasty caster level boost on % damage at the earlier levels. Potential for a 12d6 maximized Wings of Flurry alpha strike here...

A naked kobold dancing ala Duckman

Can you be so kind as to list the books these are in? I found dragonwrought and rite of passage in the Dragon book but cannot seem to find Loredrake.

Alternatively...

Venerable Dragonwrought Desert Kobold Cleric 7
Stats

22
Planning and Undead Domains
Flaw: Persist Spell
Flaw: DMM Persist
1:Extra Turning
3:Extra Turning
6:Skill Focus (Ass whuppin')

EQUIPMENT:
Rod of Extend, Lesser
Slip'n'Slide
Buy metamagic Maximize and Empower from a wizard and put it on all your spells.
Buy a Magic Tattoo for +1 Caster Level, or go Deathknell a rat.

Persist Cloud of Knives, Darkfire, Balor's Nimbus, Favorable Sacrifice, Channeled Divine Shield and Vigor. You have a Kobold that shoots knives and fire, has DR 15/evil and DR 15/magic, energy resistance 15 everything, spell resistance, 3 fast healing and cant be grappled.

Not AS bad as the Sorc builds, but still a pain in the butt

Loredrake is an subsitution option for dragons in Dragons of Eberron. Treats your sorcerer level as 2 higher in exchange for lower racial hit dice. Must be a true dragon (which dragonwrought makes you, though there is a RAI arguement against it)

Desert Kobold is a race from Unearthed Arcana. Venerable is an age category.

A kobold that has taken the dragonwrought feat at 1st level can be a venerable age (getting +3 to Wis, Int, and Cha) with no penalty to physical stats. This is because the feat changes the kobolds type to Dragon, Dragons don't take the negative penalties due to age, only the positive.

My 2 platinum...

Just wondering where the extra +1 came from, 7 from class, 2 from loredrake, and all draconic rite of passage gives you is an extra lvl 1 spell once per day that I know of.

7 sorcerer levels from sorcerer and prcs
2 sorcerer levels from loredrake (look it up, I already provided the book, it will make since after you look it up)
1 from greater draconic rite of passage located here http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060420a

That gives you a total of 10 sorcerer levels, thus 5th level spells.

since loredrake is just a variant and not a feat thats not too bad but needing to have all the rituals and dragonwrought and the prereq for greater ritual seems like an aweful large feat investment and I would only have 3 feats to use on this kobold.

People realizing that this answer is neither creative nor funny?

4th level spells >>> 3rd level spells + 2 free feats

In the loredrake case, that's even clearer.

I had thought that you needed to take Dragonwrought, Draconic Rite of Passage, Draconic Resevoir, and Greater Draconic Rite of Passage.

Which would be too many feats for a 7th sorcerer

Except the two Rites aren't feats. They just cost you time (24 hours for each) and gold (100gp for the 1st, 1000gp for the 2nd). Oh, and you lose 4 HP.

Y'know, as a side note, I find it funny that you can play a Dragonwrought Kobold Dragonborn of Bahamut.
