#1 shubniggurath Mar 27, 2008 15:36:46	Hello, I am going to play a druid 10 soon in a new, very challenging campaign. In this game we get LA+2 for free, so I need an LA+2 Race/template combination that works well with druid. Up to now I have: Crucian (Sand) La+2 for the +6 CON... meh Mongrelfolk (RDes) LA+1 for the +4 CON Half-fey (FF) LA+2 for WIS+2 (but CON-2) and nice SLA Aasimar LA+1 for WIS+2/CON+2 Uldra (Frost) LA+1 for WIS+2/CON+2 and some other nice stuff Half fey looks good, with some +CON LA+0 race (gnome?). But I am not sure that I will be allowed to take the half-fey template. I am aware of the anthropomorphic animals as great LA+0 races for druids, but I still need a +2 LA template over that. So, I am preparing 3 contingency plans: 1)In case I can get the half fey template but NOT an anthro race, what is the best LA+0 race to take with half-fey? 2)In case I can get the anthropomorphic race, but not the half-fey, what is the best LA+2 template for an anthro-bat (say) druid? 3)In case everything is allowed, what is the best race/template LA+2 combo for druids? Sources allowed: all WOTC books (no dragon magazines) help?
#2 ithamar Mar 27, 2008 15:43:52	Probably one of the best +2 LA templates for a druid would be Saint from BoED. And mongrelfolk are +0 LA, by the way.

#4 ieniemienie Mar 27, 2008 15:51:45	Aasimar have +2Wis/+2Cha, no bonus to con.... Since no DrM are allowed, I would go for Saint +1
#5 phoenix00 Mar 27, 2008 15:54:24	Phrenic and Half Fey are good with your book selection. A prhenic anthromorphic bat will have +8 for wisdom as well as other goodies.
