There will be boss fights at levels 7, 12 and 20, in which I will need to be at the peak of my damage dealing capabilities. This is my first non-caster since 2e, so Im going to need a few pointers as to how well the character will perform, and what I will need to change in order to have him kick more ass. Race: Human Stats (bonuspoint from high levels): Str: 18 (+1 at lvl 4, 8, 12, 16 og 20), (+4 at level 10) Dex: 12 Con: 14 (+4 at level 10) Int: 6 Wis: 12 Cha: 8 Build: -1: Barbarian 1 Feat (Power Attack), bonus feat (Improved Bull Rush) -2: Barbarian 2 -3: Barbarian 3 Feat (Destructive Rage) -4: Fighter 1 Bonus feat (Cleave) -5: Fighter 2 Bonus feat (Shocktrooper) -6: Barbarian 4 Feat (Leap Attack) -7: Barbarian 5 -8: Bear Warrior 1 -9: Warshaper 1 Feat (Intimidating Rage) -10: Warshaper 2 -11: Frenzied Berserker 1 -12: Frenzied Berserker 2 Feat (Steadfast Determination) -13: Frenzied Berserker 3 -14: Frenzied Berserker 4 -15: Frenzied Berserker 5 Feat (Cumberous Will) -16: Frenzied Berserker 6 -17: Frenzied Berserker 7 -18: Frenzied Berserker 8 Feat (Improved Toughness) -19: Frenzied Berserker 9 -20: Frenzied Berserker 10 |

Also, the Lion Totem substitution from Complete Champion is your best friend. And Improved Toughness is for suckers. Even Powerful Charge would be better that that. |

Especially for a Bear Warrior. But if you can get it, Pounce with no limits or strings attached at the low, low cost of +10 land speed. Actually, as you don't get Improved grab from only 1 level of Bear Warrior, you might want to grab the Bear Totem substitution level instead. For bookkeeping purposes, I'd keep the stat increases from Warshaper seperate from your base stats and note them with the Rage bonus, as ALL the class abilities of Warshaper only apply when you're in bear form. |
