| #1bloodofgodsMar 13, 2009 17:30:27 | I am currently playing in a group with 1 rogue (me), 1 ranger, 1 mage, and 1 cleric. We are playin in the age of worms campaign and as many people know that campaign is quite challenging (and very fun). One question I had is our bard is considering taking leadership in an attempt to get a cleric as a cohort my main questions is will this throw off the balance of the game? Since Cohorts o not "leech" xp away from the rest of the group, there would be almost no downside away from having a cohort with the group. My group likes to steal/sell/take EVERYTHING from things they kill, and as such money is not a problem for this group, and they can fully outfit their addition with enough armor/items to keep him alive and well.. So, would a cleric that is always 2 levels lower than the group be a game breaking addition, since it would dramatically improve the in combat (and out of combat) healing of our group? thanks for your responses and opinions |
