Oct 27, 2012 15:29:52 Hey guys. Right now I have the leadership feat, I have not used this in a very long time. How do the Level adjustments (Cohort) work with your Leadership level (Mine is +4). Also is racial HD come into play with having a cohort? If I'm wording this wrong, which I probably am, just tell me.

Oct 27, 2012 20:24:45 When you look at your cohort you are basically looking at another PC. This means that your cohort's effective character level will be its racial HD + LA + class levels. The only thing LA (cohort) means is that the monster is suitable for use as a cohort but is not really suitable to be played as a PC in which case it would just have normal LA.

If you wanted an Ogre Barbarian 1 as a cohort you would need to be able to recruite a 7th-level cohort to match its effective character level.
