| #1nanshorkJul 17, 2008 1:14:38 | I posted this build awhile back, and got very few responses. I think this was because I hadn't done much with the feats, and so I've fixed that. So, without futher ado, I give you... The Dragon Goliath Fighter 6/ Dragon Devotee 3/ Dragon Disciple 10 Variants: Dungeoncrasher 1) Fighter - Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Spiked Chain, Power Attack(b) 2) Fighter - 3) Fighter - Improved Bull Rush 4) Fighter - Knockback(b) 5) Fighter - 6) Fighter - Combat Reflexes 7) Dragon Devotee 8) Dragon Devotee - xxx(b) 9) Dragon Devotee - xxx 10) Dragon Disciple 11) Dragon Disciple 12) Dragon Disciple - xxx 13) Dragon Disciple 14) Dragon Disciple 15) Dragon Disciple - Robilar's Gambit 16) Dragon Disciple 17) Dragon Disciple 18) Dragon Disciple - xxx 19) Dragon Disciple |

| #3tytalusJul 17, 2008 6:21:27 | Getting your breath weapon once every 1D4 rounds instead of 1/day is worth a feat [RotD], if only for the utility. Too bad you only qualify for it rather late. |
| #4womblehunterJul 17, 2008 7:03:05 | Tytalus - in fact, he doesn't qualify for it until 20th level, when he obtains the half-dragon template, which is the prerequisite for that feat. Robilar's Gambit? It comes off Combat Reflexes, and you'll have plenty of HP and AC from natural armour boosts to counteract the penalty. What spells are you choosing? |
| #5Dictum_MortuumJul 17, 2008 9:24:08 | How about: Duskblade 3/Fighter 2/Dragon Disciple 10/Dragon Devotee 5 Maybe take dragonborn goliath, since you keep the powerful build IIRC. |
| #6ikildkennyJul 17, 2008 9:49:41 | why do you take 6 (!!!) levels of fighter before entering devotee?? why not try something like fighter 4 paladin 2 devotee 4 disciple 10 you would get all the ability bonusses you did get ... stilll get your 4 fighter bonus feats that you would get wout of the 6 levels of fighter (ok ... you'll lose one feet the one war or another) get one smite attempt per day AND you get your cha Mod on your saves ... sounds like a fair trade to me ... |
| #7womblehunterJul 17, 2008 10:33:25 | How about: You can't take Dragon Devotee if you have the dragon type, which Dragon Disciple 10 gets you. You'd also have some strange spellcasting (Duskblade 3+bonus spells, Sorcerer 2). why do you take 6 (!!!) levels of fighter before entering devotee?? Dungeoncrasher. |
| #8sinfire_titanJul 17, 2008 17:50:18 | You might want to check your build. IIRC, Dungeoncrasher requires you to give up two of your bonus feats, one at 4th and another at 6th. |
| #9darksamuariJul 17, 2008 21:53:53 | You might want to check your build. IIRC, Dungeoncrasher requires you to give up two of your bonus feats, one at 4th and another at 6th. No, you give up your 2nd and 6th level fighter feats. |
| #10nanshorkJul 17, 2008 23:02:15 | Sorry about the slow response, I was at my hateful new job. If I could get the dragon type early I'd love two, but the best I can do is two levels earlier, which then pushes back the dungeoncrasher progression. Robilar's Gambit and Combat Reflexes could be good, though Goliath has a racial dex penalty, I'll think about it. As to spells, I have no real idea. Ones that are useful at high levels without needing a caster level. DM, your build is nice, though the levels would have to be moved around. However, the only reason spellcasting is even in this build is to qualify for Dragon Disciple. I though, how can I turn Dragon Disciple into a fighter PrC, and this is what I came up with. Yes, six levels of fighter is for dungeoncrasher, and it replaces the 2nd and 6th bonus feats. I'd work on the build more tonight, but I'm exhausted. Sorry. |
| #11womblehunterJul 18, 2008 6:53:59 | Well you already have Combat Reflexes in the build, and Robilar's is a good feat that needs no other prerequisites... |
| #12nanshorkJul 18, 2008 12:38:11 | Oh yeah...I do, for Dungeoncrasher. I told you I was exhausted last night. ![]() It has been added to the build. |
