20 (1 Divine Clarity, 2 Level)

BAB:+10
HP:10d10
AC: should end up a little above 30 with Divine Shield up
FORT:10 + 8
RFLX:2 + 8
WILL:5 + 8

Race: Human (for RP purposes, this character must be Human)

Classes: Paladin 4/Fighter 1/Anointed Knight 5

Pally 4 for fear immunity, divine grace, and turn undead (divine shield)
Fighter for feats
Anointed Knight for role playing reasons

Feats (Human, 2 flaws, Fighter 1, Anointed Knight 3, level 1/3/6/9 = 9):
Ancestral Relic
Divine Shield
WF: Longsword (LS due to the mini I'm using)
Shield Specialization
Shield Ward
Close Quarters Fighting
Divine Vigor
Improved Critical: Longsword
???

Anoint Self:
Divine Clarity (CHA)
Deepstrike or Unbroken Flesh (leaning toward Deepstrike)

Anoint Weapon:
Sentience
Unicorn's Blood

Weapon: can be worth 24,500gp (but not adamantine) +2 Holy, Holy Surge, Lucky, Divine Wrath, Vicious, Longsword

Armor: +2 Full Plate?

Shield: +2 Heavy Wooden Shield

Hmmm: I know this guy looks boring, but I need a decent stand around, hit stuff, and get hit by stuff character and this seemed like an acceptable way to do it (with the intelligent weapon and all). Also the Anointed Knight is for RP purposes and I realize that ToB builds would be more versatile, potent, etc. What I'm looking to get advice on is ways to either bump his defensive or offensive capabilities (currently it's looking like with Deep Strike, Holy, Holy Burst, Divine Wrath, Vicious, I'll only be dealing 10d6 + 5 against Evil and 15d6 + 5 versus Evil Undead).

Lastly, this is going to be the brother of my last PC, Cassandra "The Divine," so suggestions on a catchy name that is similar to hers, but a male version, are welcome.

For some extra combat, and defense I reccomend take Two-Weapon Fighting,Improved Shield Bash, and Oversized Two-Weapon Fighting. This will let you use the shield for bashing and still keep the AC,and your weapon in the other hand. and a Bashing Heavy Shield is nothing to scoff at.

Or you can take Agile Shield Fighter (Player's Handbook II). Saves you on the TWF & Oversized TWF, I believe.

I can't believe I forgot about that. I have a character who abuses that along with Active shield Defense+Deadly Defense. Fight Defensively and suffer no penalty to your attack roles, and add another 1d6 to your damage.

There is one thing though the OP said they took paladin 3 for turn undead and divine shield. To my knowledge the paladin doesn't get turn undead until 4th. Unless the OP is using the 3.0 paladin?

You're right, thanks for pointing that out!

Where's that stuff? That sounds great!

Just look in the fighter handbook, and realize that you'll be missing out 14 levels of fighter (if you do Paladin 4/Anointed Knight 10/Fighter 6) (so really no fighter only feats, and you miss out on 7 ( - 3 from anointed knight) = 4 bonus feats). Most of the tricks in the fighters handbook should still work. Also, I'm giving you the paladin handbook link so you can look at other turning feats (there are many good defensive/offensive ones) ... also domain feats are worth looking at.
