| #1karui_kageApr 16, 2009 23:31:12 | Hey all, been a while since I've been here. Anyhow, I've been playing a lot of Pathfinder Beta lately (while still using as many 3.5 splatbooks as I can) and wanted to know if there was a quick reference for all the 'masterwork toolkits' or whatnot. I have the list in Core (Thieves' Tools, Artisan's Kit, the usual) and found some more in Complete Adventurer, but wanted to know if there were any others before I just assigned the static 50 gp price (masterwork tool) to other skills. The CO boards usually had a list or two for the kind of bonuses, any idea if there is one or where I could find it? Just looking for any tool in a 3.5 splatbook that gives +X (usually 2) circumstance bonus to Y skill (besides the Complete Adventurer ones). Thanks! |

| #4karui_kageApr 17, 2009 11:28:16 | look here: Wow, that PDF is great! Unfortunately, the only thing it seems to be missing are the Tools. It has a few kits back from Arms and Equipment (I'm assuming, the A&E abbreviation is not defined in their sources list) but is missing all the Tools from the PHB and the few I found in Complete Adventurer. ![]() |

I'm one of those that doesn't think every skill is created equal, or worth 50 GP.After all, Balance is 5 GP, Handle Animal (for training only) is 75 GP, and Craft (Alchemy) is 500. I would expect similar differences in other skills, so I just was curious if others were out there already. ![]() |
