| #1EkkoeApr 27, 2009 10:43:23 | Hey guys, It's pretty simple, I need help optimizing this bad boy. Not with monk levels or insane classes, I'm just a little double on how to play him. I'm considering the PHB2 Wild Shape alternative. It seems more effective then regular wild shape for someone who already has high str (16) and natural attacks, but it seems a lot more boring than normal Wild Shape, which offers a lot more variety. Stats (with lizardfolk bonusses): 16, 10, 16, 13, 15, 15. I'm allowed to swap 2, so I figured that'd be charisma and dexterity, making: 16, 15, 16, 13, 15, 10 Any interesting thoughts? Multiattack is a logical choice... I'm also considering making him blind for roleplay purposes. The DM disrecommended this though, but I'd make him capable of vision in his Wild Shape form, and then take the Nature's Warrior class to regain vision in his normal form with the healing possibilities. Let me know any ideas =] Builds would be nice. I start at level 3, btw, so level 4 is my first druid level. Thanks for reading! Peter aka Ekkoe |

For reptilian flavor, consider kobolds (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060420a) or Poison Dusk Lizardfolk from MM3 (no racial HD). In spite of your strength, PHB2 shapeshift variant is significantly less powerful and versatile than wild shape. It is certainly easier to play though.
