| #1chilastraSep 05, 2009 10:27:26 | Hello all, i remember seeing a druid cloak that increased the max HD of the druid's wildshape in one of the dragon magazines? Unfortunately i dont remember what its called, or what magazine it is in. Might anyone know which mag its in? Any help would be appreciated It was once listed in the old druid handbook, but since that is no longer available ive been unable to find any info on it with the search engine. It was a cloak or shroud made of a bear pelt that gave a bonus to max HD for wildshaping, at the cost of negative modifiers to charisma checks (since it smelled bad or something ;p ) |

Costs 12,000gp. You can look up answers to questions like this on Crystal Keep. There is also the Wildshape Amulet from Magic of Faerun, and the Trappings of the Beast set, from Complete champion. The former does the same as the cloak (+4 Wildshape levels) with no penalties but costs 40kgp. The latter, together (all three items) grants only a +1 to wildshape levels, but it gives you a bunch of other really nice powers as well (including a bonus to Wild Empathy checks), together it costs 52kgp (but, again, gives you a bunch of other powers). |
