Looking for an Optimized caster level build.

Dec 03, 2010 22:41:30 As the title suggests I'm looking for builds that have as high as a caster level as possible. I don't care how it's done really...just as long as it's explained. =]

Dec 04, 2010 0:14:23 Cleric with Greater Consumptive Field, Orange Ioun Stone, and a Bead of Karma: CL 35

Red Wizard with Orange Ioun Stone, Bead of Karma, and one level in the Archmage class: CL 46

Someone with more expertise in this are can propose builds with higher caster levels, such as infinity.

Wizard 3/Cleric 5/Yathrinshee 6/Mystic Theuruge 6

Take practiced spellcaster to help out, once for wiz and once for cleric. (If you can take it more than once on each side go for it)

Cleric = 19 (Maybe 20)

Wizard = 17 (Maybe 20)

Nercomancy spells = 36. (maybe 40)

Combine this with Dandu's cleric and wizard, and you will be pretty high. Probably like 80ish.

Of course you will generally suck at everything.

Dec 07, 2010 18:15:53 Red Wizard/SCM using an orange ioun stone, UMD-ing a Bead of Karma, wearing a robe of illusion (the school one), a ring of arcane might, a tattoo (the spell), and casting with Earth Spell from a cantrip can snag well over 100 before even getting GCF to x1.5 it. Look at my last post in the Twice-Betrayer of Shar thread for details, as he brings down all buffs on the TBoS with a single spell, including the AMFs.

Dec 09, 2010 0:09:37 How about sublime chord combined with Ur-priest? Wasn't combining these cause some sort of infintie loop or something or am I remembering wrong?
