Looking for healing and +1 bab at first level

Sep 06, 2011 17:50:40 Does anybody know of a class that gets access to healing spells, either cure light wounds, or the druid's regenerating counterpart (I forget its name) at level one, but also has a +1 base attack bonus at level 1? If I can find those two elements in a class, other features are irrelevant.

Alternatively, does anybody know of any races that have cure light wounds as a spell-like ability that have a level adjustment of 2 or less?

Sep 06, 2011 18:01:20 Unfortunately, what you're looking for doesn't really exist outside of doing a gestalt combat/healer character. You either get full BAB or you can cast divine spells, not both. If you wanted full BAB and arcane spells, that would be much easier since there's the Duskblade and a couple others that I can't remember off the top of my head.

As for Cure spells as SLA's, I can't think of anything that would work like that, however the Half Troll template (Feind Folio p.93) gives you Fast Healing 5 without a troll's fire weakness, and at a +2 level adjustment.

There's also making a fighting class and equipping it with the Healer's Belt (MIC 110) for 750gp, giving yourself and your allies a total of 6d8 healing per day, and that gives you +1 BAB with healing power. But aside from that there's really only what I mentioned above. Hope this helps.

It depends on what you mean by “access.” A first-level paladin or ranger can use a wand of cure light wounds. A first-level duskblade with the arcane disciple feat (Complete Divine) for the healing domain can cast cure light wounds once per day and can use a wand of cure light wounds.
