Looking for someone's fighter build...

May 25, 2009 1:56:37 Late last night I was looking through different links and posts and ran across a Fighter-20 build that was focused around tripping (dont believe it was a spiked chain build) and AoO's that was solid, but now I can’t seem to find it anywhere and the search feature keeps locking up on me. Can someone link that build please!

May 25, 2009 3:11:11 Nope, wasnt the gatling tripper, was a build using R's Gambit and Im fairly certain it wasnt a chain weapon build. If I hadn't been so tired I would have thought to add that build to my favorites...

I tryed the other link you gave me too, I will have to take some time and page through it because from some reason when I search I just end up with a blank white screen and it says its done loading, but when I refresh it tells me to wait 30sec before searching again, probably my crappy suddenlinkdead connection.

May 25, 2009 3:57:09 I think that the build that you are looking for is the "Lockdown" build -- probably the most effective Fighter 20 I've seen.

if you don't want to use a chain, then go with either:
- guisarme -- reach ; need either a spiked gauntlet or the "half-shaft" feat to threaten adjacent squares
- heavy flail -- best d.o.t. for martial trip weapons; loses reaach
- halberd -- loses reach, but can set for a charge (kind of misses the point of a tripper, though)

To avoid confusion: you were supposed to search the topic, not the forum. You know, using Ctrl+F.
