Lowering Spell DCs

I need some help from the people left here in 3.5 CharOp.

I'm looking for a way to lower the spell save DCs of an arcane character of mine, while preserving caster level. Thus, Mage Slayer and similar feats are out.

Now the only way I know of right now is by having a low ability score in the primary casting stat. The only problem with this is that I need a PCS of 19 in order to cast my highest level spells. So that is also out, for the most part.

Does anyone have a solution for me? Maybe a feat/PrC/race that can sacrifice DC for some other benefit, or similar. It doesn't even need to be an even trade, just some way of lowering save DCs.

Thanks in advance,

Why do you need to lower your DC's?

A rather odd request.

Sanctum Spell will work, as it reduces the effective level of a spell by 1 when outside your specified sanctum.  Other than that, I can't think of anything that doesn't drop your caster level.

Unfortunently Snakeman, I do need to preserve my spell level, so that's also a no go.

As for why....

Killer Gnome :P

I'm tired of everyone always failing their saving throws and having my spells do a fraction of their potential damage.

If your tired of having your spells do a fraction of their damage you should want to boost DC's not lower them. As for your allies failing their saving throws, well you should probably aim better (like using a line or centering the burst father back) or have them boost their saving throws.

By Killer Gnome do you mean a Shadowcraft Mage?

A spirit shaman uses charisma for save DCs and wisdom for all other aspects of casting.

No no...

Death, you seem to be missing the idea behind a Shadowcraft Mage:

Shadowcraft Mage's spells are created from shadow material from the Plane of Shadow, and due to how the class works these spells can become more real than their actual counterparts.

Ex: A Shadow Illusion (150%) Generic Damage Spell would deal 1d6 points of damage if the target failed their will save to disbelief, but would deal between 1-9 damage if they succeed and realize it is an illusion.

By lowering my saves, I will be making it more likely that they will disbelieve my spells, in the offchance that my DM won't allow me to just tell them the spell is fake.

I think you're out of luck, then.  Everything that will lower save DC's involves something you don't want to do.

However, enemies with Spellcraft and True Seeing will be tons of fun for you.

If you think your DM will allow a marshall's aura to effect enemies you could try grabbing Leadership for a high cha race cohort and have the Force of Will aura active. You could also see if your DM will allow you to qualify for Shadowcraft Mage with a gnome subrace (so you dont get the bonus to illusion DC).

The illusion domain could be used to gain access to spells for use with shadow illusion, but druids don't seem to have any shadow spells before high level, so spirit shaman is out.

New idea: apply dynamic priest (Dragonlance: Legend of the Twins) to archivist. You use int for save DCs and cha for all other aspects of spellcasting. The existence of the gnome and illusion domains gives you access to spells for use with shadow illusion and you can use dark way (Spell Compendium) and heighten to qualify for shadowcraft mage.
