lyre of building question

hello everyone,


now I have a question on the lyre of building in the DMG and it's uses.


first: if i have one and i play it does it construct things automatically without having to pay for labour and material costs or do i have to pay for one or both?


second: if i have a company and i build the requisite house with the lyre do i stil get a profit out of it or because i didn't pay for the building do i lose this?
