| #1reganokknightJan 21, 2009 15:26:34 | So my DM got tired of running 3 seperate campaigns (2 3.5 and 1 4th edition) and decided to roll them into one 3.5 campaign. This is a custom world/setting. So this is my thing, I have a 4th edition Dwarf Fighter (defender), he gets to keep his rolled stats (minus and stat bonuses from levels and the 4th edition dwarf racial bonuses). I am away from his character sheet right now but will update this as soon as i get it, his stats should end up being Stats as of conversion Str: 16 Dex: 13 Con: 16 Int: 12 Wis: 15 Cha: 9 Gear still 4.0 +3 Terror War Hammer Black Iron Armor +1 Shield of defiance Cloak of protection +2 rin5 of airwalk (5min of airwalk once per day) Belt of mighty earth bag of holding w/ random magic items that are not useful to me Will be starting at level 8 (level 4 and 8 points put into wis) I want to make use of his above average Wisdom but still want to keep the fighter flavor without going pure fighter. I am thinking something along the lines of pure cleric with a martial twist or so sort of cleric/fighter multiclass. Since he was a fighter, druid is quite out of the question and i am lost as how else to make use of his Wis score. I am aware of divine metamagic and using nightsticks to persist spell awesomeness but highly doubt my DM will allow anything more than one nightstick, so i can not make too much use of this. He gets no new gear aside from what he currently has in its 4.0 state, but i am sure my DM will figure out what his gear turns into. What i really need is advice as to which path to take, or how to go about it. Thank you for any thoughts or suggestions or even how i might provide more information. I play tonight and won't get another chance to make the most of a total character reworking! Edit: Forgot available books: Core, and any book except Incarnum and Unearthed Arcana (Cloistered Cleric was used previously and might be acceptable). Alternate settings might be ok as long as they can be fit into the world. No dragon magazine. No retraining. |

Once you break 3rd, go into Church Inquisitor (Complete Divine) to get back a 2nd domain. Overall, you only lose the 1 bab vs a straight cleric, which you'll more than make up for between Divine Power, Divine Favor, Knowledge Devotion, and Law Devotion. |
