This summer, my friends and I are planning on doing a short "screw-around" campaign. It will be epic (lvl 30).So I was thinking, what would be the best way to make a playable ManBearPig? (you know, from South Park: "half man, half bear, and half pig) I think he would be melee focused, possibly a shifter or lycanthrope, but beyond that I'm not sure. Suggestions are welcome, and if there are any existing threads like this, links would be appreciated. Feel free to post full builds, too.

Note: this campaign is purely for laughs; it is not meant to be taken seriously. So ridiculous is good, as long as it's mechanically sound. have fun

Hmm.
Human tauric bear where dire boar.

Also look up the D20 future mutations rules, A friend of mine says he turned a human into a xernomorph with those.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a "tauric bear"?

Tauric is a template from MM2.

If you have access to Eberron material, I think something like a Shifter barbarian/bear warrior would fit the bill. Just pick a shifter trait that's closest to a pig... maybe beasthide or gorebrute?

Hmm... I like where this is going.

Now, what sort of Prcs would help make this into the killing machine that the former vice-president so rightly feared? Maybe a few Frenzied Berzerker levels?

FB would be a good move, maybe warshaper and some tome of battle stuff

are you looking to use natural weapons or a 2 hander?

I see a Str based TWFing Warblade with Tiger claw maneuvers and Stormguard.

going to be a little tight on bonus damage to TWF unless you get bloodclaw master and some bonus dice

Don't forget to take the feat Graft Flesh: Patrick Duffy.

Yeah, I was thinking probably TWF using natural weapons, probably with bloodclaw master levels.

I think Frenzied Berzerker fits well, just cause of some of lines in the first Gore/ManBearPig episode: THe fact that FBs start attacking their allies fits the "ManBearPig doesn't care who you are or what you've done" line. Deathless Frenzy would certainly work for the whole "the only way to make sure it stays dead is to fill the caves with molten lead" thing.

I'm working out a build now; I'll put it up when I'm satisfied. This has been a big help. Any more suggestions are welcome.

I have a bit of a crazy suggestion. Find some way to become really hard to detect. Permanent invisibility maybe or an awesome hide & move silently +hide in plain sight. It doesnt matter. Then take leadership. Have your cohort be a cleric (who regularly casts enthrall), who is obsessed with this so called "man-bear-pig". You could even go so far as to arrange this with your DM so that the other PC's think the cohort is your character. I believe that fits perfectly.

This is what you really want.

PsyWar 4/Ftr 2/Barbarian 1/Bear Warrior 10/Primeval (Dire Boar) 7/Warshifter 5/ +1

Pick up Expansion from PsyWar to be "large" sized to get into war hulk.

So. You use your Bear rage to turn into a Bear, use augmented expansion (with some help form Practiced Manifester) to get two size categories, use your primeval shift to become half man/half dire boar/half bear use your warshifter abilities to increase your reach and weapon size, tack on some imp natural attacks and have yourself one super giant THING with 50 plus strength rar.

This is awesome. The only weak thing is the short duration on Rage and Primeval Form. This would be my suggestion to stay in ManBearPig Form permenantly.

Wearbear 9 (6HD+3LA)/ Wildshape Ranger 5/ Dire Boar Primeval 10/ Warshaper 4/ Nature's Warrior 2
- Wearbear allows you to stay in Wearbear Form permenantly
- Wildshape can be used to assume Primeval Form, Extra Wildshape would allow you to keep it up permantly (6 hrs. x4 Wildshapes)
- +45 STR, +25 CON, +7 DEX, +23 NA (Wearbear Form, Primeval Form, Regression, Feral power, Morphic Body, Nature's Armament)
