I'd like to have a high Critical hitting weapon of righteousness to argue with the rogue in the party.. 28 Point buy, all 3.5 books except Tome of Battle & NO Psionics.. Races aren't limited as of yet but this is open to DM approval.. We are starting at 9th level but I'm trying to plan up to 16th.. I was thinking along the lines of Fighter/Paladin/Mythic Exemplar wielding either a Greatsword or Falchion but this only nets you a +1 to the crit range. Improved Critical doubling the crit of the weapon.. What are ways to increase the crit range, i'm open to ALL ideas but essentially the build has to be Good or Neutral.. BTW this will be a primarily combat based build - not overly worried about spells. |

However, you could still use a Jovar (basically a Greatsword with 18-20 Critical, Planar Handbook) and take 7 levels of Barbarian, using the Cityscape substitution (+1 critical range), Lion Totem, and Whirling Frenzy. That, with Improved Critical, gets you 13-20. Slap on the Enfeebling enchantment to make those critical hits count for something. JaronK |
