Hey guys, I would like help in building a Cha based charater.

Heres the status:
Level 10
Wizards books only (no third party, or Dragon mag)
Level adjustment and Templates acceptable.

I want to maximize my cha as much as possible WITHOUT items. Only base stat.

Any help would be apreciated in advance.

Please and thank you.

I think he's more looking for the highest possible 'natural' Charisma, no items used, JesterZero.

I'm not sure what races / templates are out there to grab you a higher Charisma. Off the top of my head with zero research, you have an Aasimar who's put his 2 freebies into it to get a 22. Without items, I'm really not sure how to get it higher.

Aging rules could be used too.

You know, I never think about those, because -6 con has never been worth +3 mental stats for me. But it could get you a 25. I'm sure there's a template or something that could add more, I'm looking into it.

You could do something like human paragon 3/something 2/chameleon 5 and that can get you to 26 Cha with the level bonuses.

Edit: Whoops only 24, you don't get the +4 ability boon until chameleon 7. So a better way to do it would be human paragon 3/something 2/chameleon 4/dragon devotee 1. That'll get you to 26. Of course if you add aging effects then that's 29.

My mistake. Well, once he gets a high CHA he'll have a handy link of things he can do with it. :D

Venerable Phrenic Draconic Star Elf? You could get 29 this way @ 10th (before Cha boosting items). maybe a 35 w/ good planning of resources...

+1 LA Half Giant +2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Dex
+0 LA Primordial -4 str, -2 Con, +4 int, +4 cha
+1 LA Fire-Souled +4 cha
+2 LA Saint +2 Con, +2 wis, +4 Cha
+1 LA Draconic +2 STR, +2 CON, +2 Cha
+3 LA Radiant Creature +4 Dex, +6 Cha
+1 LA Death-touched -2 Con +2 Wis +4 Cha

So a venerable level 1 character with +9 LA with those templates would have +27 Cha, with an 18 in Cha that's 45 Cha.

You're a level 1 character though.

Also, a lot of that was copy pasted from crystalkeep without double checking the source. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of those are not applicable.

Primordial Half-giant is a nice start though.

Pretty sure some of those are dragon mag material, though... I dunno. It definitely is what the OP asked for, but its definitely not practical.

Right, No dragon magazine... well that take out fire souled which is pretty great.

Oh and on a more serious note: try a pixie. It might not have the greatest CHA possible, but the rest of the abilities are quite sexy.

And an FYI: the LA for the fire-souled template is an error.

It actually is LA +3.

Sorry, guys.
