#1 phaedrusxy Apr 07, 2009 16:32:05	Just for the heck of it, I'm compiling all the things from the old thread by ninja1 and a few things I've accumulated since to break the "world record" for Knowledge: Religion. Knowledge Religion, applied to Dark Craft: Sacrifice modifiers from the Book of Vile Darkness: Lasts an hour- +1 Altar- +2 Desecrated Area- +1 Public- +1 10 followers- +1 Tortured for a day- +1 (use the Liquid Pain spell to get another 3 xp) Good-Aligned- +1 1 HD- +1 (+9)(you can boost this to +19 with a bit more work, so I'll put that in the total) Guidance of the Avatar for +20 comp. Enhancement bonus (?): +5 Sacrificial Skill spell (BoVD) Moment of Prescience: +25 insight 1st level Bard spell Improvisation (SC) can give up to 1/2 caster level as a luck bonus. We can boost CL to insane heights, so this is uncapped. I'll conservatively give it a +18 (20 + 10 from Consumptive Field +4 Karma Bead +1 Magic Tattoo +1 Spellgifted trait). Greater Heroism, adds a +4 morale bonus on skill checks. Willing Sacrifice (Exemplars of Evil), Cleric 3, does 1d10 damage to ally, you get 1/2 that as a profane bonus on a skill check, or other things. Maximize this for +5. 23 ranks, +23 bonus from an Item Familiar. Skill Focus for +3 Int 38 for +14 (Old age, +2 Int starting race) Sage psicrystal for +3 (take Hidden Talent to qualify, or play a race with a psi-like ability) MW tool for +2 circumstance (surely we can do better than this...) Total: 23+23+3+5+4+18+25+5+20+19+14+3+2 = +164 An Archivist could manage to actually cast or emulate all of the needed spells, and also benefit from the huge Int.
