Maximum Temporary Stat Enhancement?

I'm currently looking into ways of temporarily boosting a character's attributes without resorting to class features, but seeing as most spells and effects confer enhancement bonuses, making them stack is proving to be a challenge.

I'm mainly looking at boosting Strength temporarily without needing to multiclass or otherwise impact a character's build, but other attributes are welcome as well. Psionics seem to offer the most venues - using augmented Expansion and Animal Affinity ought to net me a +8, at least. The Strength of My Enemy power looks promising, but will it keep adding to the Strength enhancement bonus even if the target is reduced to 0? If so, it may just be a matter of getting a rat or a turtle and punching it until the desired strength is achieved. The problem is just making it last long enough to make use of the strength after several rounds of punching.

The Rage spell gives another +2 morale bonus to Strength, but that one even requires concentration to maintain. I think an older 3.0 version of the spell gives an untyped +4 bonus, but that's neither here nor there.

The 9th level power Assimilate gives an untyped +4 bonus to each stat for an hour if you kill a creature with it (such as the aforementioned rat or turtle). Am I correct in assuming that it does not stack with itself, being from the same source or what not?

You can use Polymorph effects to swap physical scores then boost them should grant large physical scores.

Wild shape into a dire polar bear (str 39), after casting enhance wild shape (str +2, untyped), then cast bite of the werebear (str +16, enhancement)?

You need an Artificer and an Incantatrix with Persistent Spell and Metamagic Effect.

Incantatrix (Ix): Equips a Headband of INT.
Artificer (Ar): Uses his level 4 item alteration infusion to change the bonus type to "Spiffy."
Ix: Uses Metamagic Effect to persist item alteration.
Ar: Uses his fox's cunning infusion on the Headband of INT.
Ix: Persists fox's cunning with Metamagic Effect.
Ar: Infuses item alteration into the Headband to change the Enhancement bonus to "Awesome."
Ix: Persists item alteration.

The duo continues as desired.  This works for any stat boosting infusion too!

Consumptive Field. Bite of the Werebear. Shapechanging to something with huge STR.

Assimilate should stack with itself, I believe... although ruling otherwise isn't exactly unreasonable, as there's some cheese there.

Creating simulacra/effigy/whatnot of obscenely powerful creatures and fusing with them should be fun, too.
