Maxing out Diplomacy for a Forgotten Realms 3.5 Mystic Theurge

Okay so far the character will be a female half-elf Cleric/Wizard going into Mystic Theurge.

Cleric of Ubato With plant and scalykind domains.

Of course the character will have high charisma and charisma boosting items (Circet of Persausion, Cloak of Charisam, etc.)

The Dm will allow for any 3.0 and 3.5 WotC FR books, the complete books [but not mage, champion, or scondrel], any 3.0 or 3.5 Dragon magazine article about the Forgotten Realms world, cityscape, frostburn, sandstorm, and stormwrack. As well as the PHB and the DMG, but not the PHB2 or DMG2.

So far the feats founded for use have been:
- smooth talker*
- harem training [or another region feats that helps the diplomacy skill] *
- skill focus diplomacy
- negotiator

* region feats

Other then so feats, and getting the syngery bonus for Diplomacy

What other feats, items, or choices can this character make to max out diplomacy?

Thanks for any help with this.

Well, let me put it this way. You have cleric casting. You can get up to a +35 bonus to a skill of your choice with two second level spells.

+20 competence Guidance of the Avatar (D&D Spellbook)
+5 to +15 insight (CL dependent) Divine Insight (Complete Adventurer pg 147, Spell Compendium pg 70)
+2 aid another (maybe. your familiar shares your skills.)

Throw on a Unity Wine (Cleric 1, PGtE p73, specifically used often by half elves) or Heroism (Wiz 3, SRD) for a +1 or +2 morale bonus

edit: oh and if you really feel like going all-out with Charisma, pick up the Dynamic Priest feat from Dragonlance: Legends of the Twins, which bases your divine spellcasting (except save DCs, IIRC) on Charisma. Or use Academic Priest, to become a bit less MAD. (same as Dynamic Priest except it swaps your divine spells to Int).

ugh sorry I didn't read your post thoroughly. I'll be retooling this post in a lil bit to reflect your allowed books.

Ask if you can use website material. It is official WotC content, and your DM doesn't seem to mind mixing in unupdated 3.0 material elsewhere.

It's a shame about the lack of Eberron stuff. Unity Wine would have a nice flavor for your character. Also a shame about Academic Priest.

At the very least, you may be able to use the Divine Insight and Heroism spells, and have your familiar aid you. (If it can speak, that is.)

Have you looked at the Cloistered Cleric variant? It's good for many builds, and I think that will include yours. The actual paper book it's located in is Unearthed Arcana, which I see no mention of, for good or ill.

One is usually limited to a single regional feat.
