| #1Thorvald_GrimbjornMay 04, 2008 21:45:09 | Hello, there. One of my favourite fantasy archetypes is the warrior-bard, a bard who can not only sing and swindle, but also hold his own in personal combat, in the manner of Blondel de Nesle (Gore Vidal's "A Search for the King"), Allan-a-Dale (several Robin Hood legends) and Kormak (from the Icelandic saga Kormak's Saga). So, I have some ideas of my own, but I'd like to know how would members of this board make a melee bard, with 28 points for attributes and using only the following books: Player's Handbook, Complete Warrior, Complete Divine, Complete Arcane and Complete Adventurer. Thanks in advance. |
