| #1olorin_Jan 28, 2009 9:30:57 | Hi, i think i saw the answer somewhere but just can't remember, so i'll ask again. 1)The incantatrix's improved metamagic reduces the cost of a metamagic by 1 for each metamagic feat or 1 in total? 2)Metamagic effects stack?a twined and energy admixtured spell will be admixtured both times the spell are casted? thanks. |

It applies to each separate Metamagic feat used. For example a Maximized (+3) + Chained (+3) Spell, would only be +4. (3-1)+(3-1)=4 2)Metamagic effects stack?a twined and energy admixtured spell will be admixtured both times the spell are casted? Yes Metamagic stacks. Twinned casts the same spell you're casting, again. Same thing with Repeat Spell. thanks. No problem. |

I thought something like a Maximized Empowered spell (just pretend it does 3d6 normal dmg) meant that you maximize the normal damage (18), and then you actually roll 3d6, and divide by half and add that to it. |

Maximized/Empowered is an exception to the rule. |
