Mild dweomerkeeper abuse

Nov 23, 2008 2:54:30 I'm going to be going into DWK later on in my characters life from a cleric(ala cheater of mystara), and I was simply wondering about how to effectively abuse supernatural spell without my DM deciding that massive amounts of rocks will fall from the sky to crush me(That hulking hurler 3 miles away rolled a natural 1, too bad for me). This means no limited wish/wish/miracle abuse using the cheater of mystara build.

What would good ways to make it so I'm borderline overpowered but not enough to cause my character to die in a horrible manner? This is a kinda hard question to answer because it dependant on my DM's rulings, but I'm simply asking that if you were a DM that allowed DWK, where would you draw the line of abuse, and what falls right below that line?

Persist supernatural buff spells to make them immune to dispelling.

That actually seems fairly useful, but can you really persist supernatural abilities? I thought that DMM persistent could only be applied to a spell, and since its a supernatural ability I couldn't do that? Since DMM is applied when its cast, I wouldn't be casting divine might as a spell, but using it as a supernatural ability which can't have metamagic applied to it.

Though I think I could do that to a spell that is actually persisted, but that would need some massive spell levels to use so I don't know if its worth it.

Cast buff spells with expensive material components that you wouldn't otherwise use every day, like Favourable Sacrifice from SpC.

Not sure if my DM would be favorable to me basically gaining a significant amount of wealth per day to use for spells, but I think I can skate by if I don't use it too often.
