May 24, 2011 4:44:46 Players Handbook page 113 under weapon size, read it. It says that you can use a small weapon at -2 attack penalty and it becomes one category lighter. No feats necessary.

Nope, two-handed is two-handed. But you can get a kusari-gama from the exotic weapons section of the DMG instead. One-handed, reach, close reach, tripping, entangling and, IIRC either light or explicitly finesse-able.
