it would help if we knew more about the Character..... :
What level is he?
how much gold do you have to spend?
what is the rest of the party like?
any house rules?
what books allowed?
etc....

the more info you give the better suggestions we can provide

:D

As others have pointed out, there are some good ways to boost grapple checks with psionics (the powers Expansion, Grip of Iron and Metamorphosis, for instance).

Polymorphing into a creature with the Constrict and/or Rake special attacks is ultra-super-fantastic (behir monks kick ass!!).

wrote a long reply, which got erased.

WAR MIND: +4 STR, grip of iron, expansion. Up to +14 from having 8 levels in that class.

DUSKBLADE + DRAGON DISCIPLE: +4 STR, for an investment of 5 levels. Also some other goodies.

Hmm... you know, Duskblade might be an interesting entry for Warmind. :P You just need to get a power point reserve. Kalashtar makes a nice race for a PW or Warmind, and takes care of that. If you could get a DM to let your Duskblade channeling work for powers, that combined with Sweeping Strike could be nice...

If you've got Tome of Battle, you may want to consider a dip to pick up the third level Stone Dragon stance, Crushing weight of the mountain, which lets you constrict for 2d6+1.5*STR. Depending on your starting level, you may even want to drop monk and use the unarmed swordsage variant instead, possibly also mixing in some Bear totem or Bear spiritual totem Barbarian as you no longer need to be lawful.

It matures too late for my taste, unless you're taking it in a different order. I'd probably go something like Duskblade 3/Psiwarrior 2/Warmind 5/Slayer 6. After that, I don't know... I'd just want to get Sweeping Strike ASAP, and I don't think it is worth wading through 13 levels to get the full attack channeling when you have Sweeping Strike, unless you're playing in a game you're sure will make it that far (many don't, IMX).

If you want sweeping strike ASAP I'd go Duskblade5/warmind5/duskblade8/cerebremancer2

Now that I think about it sweeping strike with full attack arcane channeling is just brutal.
