#1 selaphiel Aug 01, 2008 21:39:08	For my sneak attack binder i was thinking of how to maximize his damage. I saw on a post that he added dex to damage, and i was wondering if there was any way to do that. Weapon finesse+whatever he did would make it one less stat i need to dump into (STR). Any other ideas of maximizing a finesse kind of build.
#2 gorfnad_the_shiznit Aug 02, 2008 1:00:34	What layout build do you have so far? What books do you have access to? Have you looked through The 3.5 Rogue Handbook and other builds located on Surreal's Index?
#3 sir_argenon Aug 02, 2008 6:17:44	taking levels is swashbuckler will e great so you can get int to damage @ 3rd level, also definitely take the daring outlaw feat so your swash and rogue levels stack. take the craven feat to really pump up your SA damage. also take a couple levels of swordsage. your 1st level stance should be island of blades so that anyone you attack that someone else is attacking is considered flanked, and then plan the 2nd level so that hes at least 5th IL so that his stance can be 3rd level... take the assassin's stance which gives you +2d6 SA. last but not least, with your swordsage levels be sure to take shadowhand maneuvers whuch qulify you to take the shadow blade feat, and you get dex to damage with shadow hand weapons. you can have all this done by 8th level if you plan correctly.
#4 playswithfire Aug 02, 2008 7:49:04	Rogue -feat[Two Weapon Fighting] Rogue Rogue - feat Swashbuckler - Weapon Finesse Swordsage - Weapon Focus (Shadow Hand weapons) Swashbuckler - feat[Shadow Blade] Swashbuckler Swordsage Swashbuckler - feat[Daring Outlaw] Level 9 - stay in Assassin's Stance pretty constantly, 6d6 sneak attack, dex and int to damage with any finessable weapon. Could probably do it at level 8, but I think to do that you need Swordsage at level 1, so you'd have 6 first level maneuvers, while this gets you 6 second level maneuvers
#5 kurashu Aug 02, 2008 12:15:14	I'd switch Daring Outlaw and Shadow Blade in that build. Take Craven as soon as possible.

X being whenever you are able to bind a SA vestige level 9 - Martial Study: Cloak of Deception level 12 - Martial Stance: Assassin's Stance level 15 - Shadow blade (DEX to damage) you could take these feats at 3/6/9... but you get the most bang from having them at these levels and you'd lose 2d6 SA without Assassin's Stance. Maybe your DM will let you retrain? I would then get: 3: Shadow blade technique 6: Island of blades 9: Shadow blade gear: Rogue's vest - MIC Deadly Precision weapon enhancement - MIC Bracers of the Hunter - Secrets of Xendrik 5d6+ HD to sneak attack damage and dex to all melee damage. PS. Show I'm a big fan of custom multiclass feats for melee types (had a player make one for warlock/sorcerer levels to stack for CL and eldritch blast damage, didn't work quite well). However, how does this sound? Vestigial Stalker prereq: soul binding, sneak attack benefit: If you have levels of binder and rogue, these levels stack to determine the amount of sneak attack damage you deal and the number of pact augmentations you may obtain. rest same as the other aesetic/devoted multiclass feats.
