#1 primetimekiller Jul 14, 2009 5:19:07	Ok sonner or later groups die or retire that's why i constantly build something. This time i tried to put together a sorcerer. After seeing the Zentharim substitution levels for the fighter i remembered that there was also a caster zentharim... After looking it up in Lords of Darkness i noticed an interesting passage regarding the Flying Mount class feature: powerful conjurer skymages have enslaved fiends as mounts And the second i read this i thought: Dude totally want to ride a Pit Fiend!! So thats what i came up with: http://rubberduck.myftp.org/sorc.htm The red marked Feats are preq. for the prestige classes I am using human as race (though i might swap to silverbrow human) Warmage is the Warmage PRC from Dragonlance Age of Mortals NOT the Base Class. So i am starting as Human paragon simply because of the better HD and skillpoints. Then go 2 levels sorc and continue Human pragon to get a bonus feat and the ability increase which of course goes to cha. since the sorcerer casting is delayed i cant get into zentharim skymage or warmage at level 5 but fiendblodded only requiers 2nd level spells. then we go warmage as those abilities will be more useful till i can get really high charisma scores. at that point i go into zentharim skymage and get hopefully my Pit Fiend Mount! pit fiend has 18HD! and the skymage mount says it that the max-hd you can get is skymage levels+1+cha so skymage levels = 5+1=6 cha: 18(base)+5(levels)+5(tome)+6(item)+2(human paragon)+1(fiendblodded)= 37 37 cha is a +13 bonus soo 6+13=19 HD (so in theory a base cha of 15 would also work) but it is not stoping there! arcane aegis gives an ally ac equal to our char bonus(as far as i know you count as an ally for yourself please tell me if this is wrong) evils blessing gives us cha on saves so you get: Charisma to your saves and AC Charisma to 2 of your allies AC +3 Damage per damage die on each spell some free metamagics and a fu**ing PitFiend mount! you lose: 1 level of sorcerer casting -------------------------------------------------------------------------- so i am open to sugesstions or ideas i am still lokking for interesting vile feats i get them by serving an elder evil(Book: Elder Evils)
#2 PlzBreakMyCampaign Jul 14, 2009 8:55:59	That PrC can be used for worse purposes by the way. I usually stop reading whenever someone mentions that class. Just like Planar Shepard ::shudder:: Look at Carnivore's pixie builds if you want really insane Charisma amounts and uses. Also Vile feats are really sub-par. Try Psychic Reformation.
#3 primetimekiller Jul 14, 2009 13:10:46	most vile feats are crap but since i get them for nothing why not^^ besides cha to save as a standart action fur 5 turens IS quite nice for a sorcerer
