Multiple same item abuse

Just wanted to get opinions in this matter, there are alot of great iteams that are not exactly very expensive and have superb effects but can only be used certain times per day.

would you consider abusive??? if these are items he makes himself???

for example a player walking around whit 3-4 belts of battle and when he expends one he changes it at the end of combat.

are there rules for this kind of thing???

Basically yes, one... which doesn't work all that well, really. It's called "Wealth by level".

It's hilariouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus.
There's a character I rolled called She of Many Belts who looks like a little punk wizard from shadowrun because she wears so many belts of battle.

One thing they did in the Pathfinder RPG beta is to make magic items not work unless they had been in someone's possesion for one day (slotted items must be worn that whole time). It sort of works, for a while, then your Cleric gets Feebleminded and the only restoration / wish item wasn't in the UMD character's posession...
