| #1marrithl2Jul 27, 2009 18:56:28 | I am working on making a build that is focused only on skills and non-combat abilities. I don't care about hit points, BAB, saves, or AC. I'll be starting the character at level 6 and want to be able to do as much as possible in a dungeon without using any magic (no spells, spell-like abilities, or magic items). There are some classes that stand out a lot to me and I've compiled them into a very early build to get your comments. You will notice some classes have spell-like abilities (like Dungeon Delver), these classes might be modified to substitute out the magic for mundane abilities. I am looking for PrC placement (how early I take one over the other) help, feat help, and general comments on the concept/build. I look forward to your input! Thanks. Is there an easy way to get a climb speed, slow fall, or hide in plain sight? What other abilites would help a character like this? FR = Feat Rogue FF = Fortune's Friend UT = Uncanny Trickster TA = Thief Acrobat E = Exemplar TS = Trapsmith DD = Dungeon Delver Race: Whisper Gnome or Human Stats: 18, 16, 15, 14, 11, 9 No flaws No magic |

My favourite sensing ability must be Touchsight at this point, which is relatively easily available. Curiously, I'm not sure if you do anything a Factotum or an Improvisation bard can't.... Still, I like what you're doing. |

| #4dr_rocktopusJul 28, 2009 14:36:33 | Touch sight is psionics. Are magic items allowed? |
| #5marrithl2Jul 28, 2009 15:02:23 | Nope. No magic items, no psionics... I know, this REALLY limits things. |

| #8rachthekoboldJul 29, 2009 21:10:02 | there is a variant for the rogue in the Unearthed that allows you to get hide in plain sight as one of the rogue special abilities... dipping into shadow dancer also gets you hide in plain sight... but thats got some heavy preqs...thats all the easily acessible versions i can think off... |
