| #1Tenebrous_SageOct 29, 2008 2:29:29 | I'm playing a warlock for the first time in a friend's campaign. I have a basic build already, but I would like any insights and/or suggestions anybody can add. The classes are set in stone, but most of the rest of it could change: Ashur Fane - Magic-Blooded Human Sorcerer 1/Warlock 4/Eldritch Theruge 2 Stats: STR 14 DEX 16 CON 14 INT 16 WIS 14 CHA 21 Level break down 1 Sorcerer - Precocious Apprentice, Improved Initiative, Point Blank Shot, & Precise Shot (Flaws: Frail & Weak Willed) 2 Warlock 3 Warlock - Weapon Focus (Ranged Spells) 4 Warlock 5 Warlock 6 Eldritch Theruge - Practiced Spellcaster (Sorcerer) 7 Eldritch Theruge My invocations are: Least - Baleful Utterance, Eldritch Spear, & See the Unseen, Lesser - Fell Flight My spells known are: 0 lvl - Amanuensis, Arcane mark, Dancing Lights, Mending, Prestidigitation 1st lvl - Charm Person, Grease, Nerveskitter 2nd lvl - Glitterdust I have access to pretty much all non setting books. I might be able to talk my DM into allowing something from FR, but it's a long shot. As I said this is my first time playing a warlock so any advice is most welcome. |

I'm intending for him to focus primarily on the warlock side of things, and am only using Sorcerer and Eldritch Theruge to round him out a bit. I'm probably going to take Quicken SLA (Eldritch Blast) at 9th level, but beyond that I don't know. Any advise would be appreciated. |
