| #1dwn3Apr 22, 2009 0:32:02 | I'm not going to post a straight up build for this because, frankly, it doesn't matter if it's 1 solo bard/cleric/divine prankster or just two characters working together. Step 1: take CC bard alternate class feature healing song (or whatever it's called) adding ranks to healing spells Step 2: have the bard max out ranks in perform (usually a standard) Step 3: Cleric/whoever prepares healing spirit or Darts of life Healing spirit is a 4th level spell, so cast-able by a 7th level cleric minimum that's 10 ranks in perform for a team mate bard 1d8+10/round is much better than 1d8/round even if the spell lasts a measly 3 rounds at that level. Better yet, once activated, you don't have to waste an action healing in battle as a cleric, you can get right back to tanking (or just use it to heal yourself while fighting) Darts of Life 5th level spell, available at 9th cleric level, which gives the bard 12 ranks in perform. Normal: create 10 darts that heal 1d8 each Now: create 10 darts each healing 1d8+12 (or more depending on bard) launch one dart as a swift action or 3 as standard or all as full action. Total: 10d8+120. Granted it'd take 1 standard action to cast and 1 full round action to launch every dart at once, but you can just as easily launch 1 a round as a swift action and keep casting other spells. Note: Healing darts will improve a total of 10hp/level because each dart would get an additional +1/level of bardic perform which puts this spell right up there against heal in terms of straight up numbers, and this method has no cap on the amount it can heal. +outside of combat, the amount of time it takes to use this wouldn't be a factor I've noticed a lack of optimization for healing on the CO boards, I guess the belief is if a character is good enough, they won't need the healing. Other note, a bard could do this himself I'm pretty sure, if only with the healing spirit option. You could multiclass bard1/cleric4/divine pranksterx to pull this off solo, and this lets you keep your perform rank up if you push divine pranksters skills back into perform to keep it maxed etc. Thoughts?
