Fell Energy Spell, from Dragon Compendium (and originally, Dragon 312), is a feat that says "Any numerical bonus granted by a spell modifed with this feat increases by +2 for all undead creatures it effects."

Now, consider what happens if you cast desecrate (+1HP/HD to all undead created in the area, permanently, +2 if there's an alter nearby) with this metamagic. Permanent +2hp/HD on all undead you create! Combined with Corpse Crafter and either Dread Necromancer 8 or the UA Necromancer substitution, you can get a total of +8 HP/HD on all your undead... quite handy indeed.

And now consider Awaken Undead, which sets their Int to 1d6+4... now your awakened guys are smarter, permanently. Nifty.

Not sure if there's other spells with permanent numerical bonuses for undead, but this sure is handy.

So this+Arcane Thesis (Plague of Undeath)+Altar of Desecrate+Corpse Crafter feat tree+Dread Necromancer=Crazy Undead. Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?

I think so, Brain. But what if the chicken doesn't want to wear the nylons?

I think even stronger undead actually. And me likes the sound of that.

What about casting Wish on yourself (an undead) for an inherent bonus? You'd get a +3 from one Wish the way this sounds, right?

That sounds exactly right. How much does it increase the spell level?

+1 Slot. Damn. For something so broken, it has a low slot adjustment.

Also things such as Draconic Polymorph, Mage Armor, True Strike, etc get bonuses from stuff like this.
