Need a filler prestige class

Feb 02, 2010 18:57:54 Hey, does anyone remember the "Free lunch" thread? I can't seem to find it.

Anyways, I need a prestige class with the following abilities:

Qualify with level 9 skills, 2 feats, 2nd level divine casting, 1st level arcane casting, and BAB 3.

Progresses Arcane Casting on 1st level

Anyways, if anyone can think of something like this, would be greatly appreciated.

Feb 02, 2010 19:02:21 Fatespinner is easy to qualify for, and the first four levels progress casting. I'm not sure exactly what you already have and what you're looking for other than +1CL...

Therefore, I need something to take other than "wizard 2" and "wizard 3."

So far, both Divine Orcale and ...the prestige class with Telepathy 100 at first level can be qualified for with "Caster level 5", so I might do one level of each (or 2 divine orcale for evasion; depends on what I think will benefit the character more)

Fatespinner requires 4th level arcane spells.

Feb 02, 2010 19:59:18 You can fill it with Ruathar (Races of the Wild), the freest of the free lunches. Requires BAB +6 OR 9 ranks in any skill OR 3rd level spells, plus some RP requirement about helping elves. It's a full-casting class only 3 levels long with some minor goodies, including a d6 hit die, decent skill list, and 2 good saves. Not a bad deal, if you don't mind becoming elf-flavored.

Feb 02, 2010 21:01:37 Good call on the Ruathar, but I think I like Mindbender 1 +something else or Divine Orcale2 better. The class abilities are better.

How about Mindbender 1 + Ruathar 1? You get the magical word of friendly friendship and the free magic item from Ruathar at level 1, IMO the two best things from the class.
