I have been playing a game as a DMM: Quicken Cleric for some time now.
And we have played from lvl 5 to lvl 8 now, and our DM have given us the chance to chance our Charector(to try some new aspects of our char etc.).
And well ... everyone talk about DMM: Presistent Spell being so great so I choosed to check it out.

And yes: Its GREAT!

Char is as following:
Str: 16
Dex: 12
Con: 12
Int: 10
Wis: 14
Cha: 18

Bonus sats:
level 4 +1 in Wisdom
level 8 +1 in Wisdom
Item: Cloak of Charisma(DMG, 4.000 gp) +2 to Charisma

End stats:
Str: 16
Dex: 12
Con: 12
Int: 10
Wis: 16
Cha: 20

Levels:
Cleric 7/Fighter 1

Domains:
Planning(Complete Warrior), Time(Spell Compendium)

Feats:
Improved Initiative(Time domain)
Extend Spell(Planning domain)
1. Level 1 - Presistent Spell(Complete Arcane)
2. Human - Divine Metamagic(presistent spell)
3. level 2 - Extra Turning
4. level 6 - Extra Turning
5. Fighter lvl 1 - Easy Metamagic

Turn undead:
Item: Nightstick(Libris Mortis)
3 + 5(cha mod.) + 4x2(Extra Turningx2) + 4(nightstick(rod, 7500g) = 20

Presistent Spell: +6 to spell slot/level
W. Easy Metamagic +5 to spell slot/level

Total Presistent spells: 20/5 = 4

Normal attack round:
Bab: +6
Str 16: +3
2 attack m. +9/+4 Ap.

Spells i have choosen for Presistent spells so far:
Divine Power
Divine Favor
Haste (Time domain)

Divine power:
Base Attack Bonus = char. level
+6 Str bonus
+4 Con bonus
+1 hp per level
=
BAB = +7
Str(16+6=22): +6 Attack power(Ap)
HP: (7 lvls*2 con mod) + 1 hp/level = +21 hp

Divine Favor:
+1 on attack & Damage roles per 3 lvls
= +2 Ap , +2 on damage

Haste:
= Extra attack on full ap, +1 Ap, +1 AC

Full attacks:
Ap: 7(BAB) + 6(Str mod) + 2(Divine Favor) + 1(Haste) = +16

Total Attacks: 16/16/11
(2 normal attacks + 1 from Haste)

AC:
10 + 8(full plate) +1(dex mod) +1(haste) = 20

Weapon:
Greatsword mwk (flaming Enchatment): 2d6 + 1d6 + 6(str mod) +2(Divine Favor)
Total Dmg: 3d6 + 8
Min. Dmg: 11x3 attacks = 33
Avg. Dmg: 17x3 attacks = 51
Max. Dmg: 26x3 attacks = 78

Okay so fare so good.

But now to the question: What spell do/can I choose as the last spell I can Presistent ??

I have looked up some spells , but I dont know if they will be any good:
Shielf of Fate(+3 Deflection AC, I already got 1 from Haste, and i dont think they stack)

Holy Transformation, lesser(+2 str +2 con, darkvision and fly)

Infernal Transformationer, lesser(+2 str +con, darkvision, extra attack whit beard)

Any idears, and comments, are more then welcome.

And yes, its super cool to play Cleric. :P

Easy Metamagic is certainly NOT a Fighter Bonus Feat. Also, you pay Metamagic Modifier + 1 for each use, so that's 6 Turns per use, even with Easy Metamagic.

Also, why the Fighter level?!

Haste isn't Persistable, not does it give Deflection to AC, but rather Dodge to AC...

Why not Undeath as a Domain, for yet another Extra Turning?

you cant persist haste, it has a range of close

holy transformation is a good one, so is righteous might. so is invisibility from the trickery domain if you plan to be more of a buffer/controller than an attacker.

*G* You spoil of my fun .. :P
But well .. I will need to rethink my idea of the char a bit. ..

CantripN >
About the fighter class: It gives me 2 things: 1 extra feat, and proficient whit martial weapons.
The later is nearly the most importent as a Cleric is only proficient whit simple weapons.

And great idea about the undead domain.
I can give me 24 turns then, and if I can get the Easy Metamagic i can still Presistent 4. spells.

snex >
righteous might is a lvl 5 spell. Cant get it yet.

-----

Question: Can I move any of the feats around, so I still have the same or will I need to find an other 1 then Easy Metamagic ?

Oh man I like some of the idears here :D

CONSUMPTIVE FIELD
Necromancy [Death, Evil]
Level: Cleric 4
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 30 ft.
Area: 30-ft.-radius emanation
centered on you
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

All creatures in the area with fewer
than 0 hit points that fail their saving
throws die, and you gain 1d8 temporary
hit points and a +2 bonus to Strength
for each death caused by this spell and
until the spell’s duration expires.
Additionally, your effective caster
level increases by one per death caused
by this spell, to a maximum increase of
half your original caster level, improving
spell effects that are dependent on
caster level. (This increase in effective
caster level does not grant you access
to more spells, and it does not increase
the duration of this spell.)
Creatures that fall to –1 hit points or
lower in the area after the spell is cast
are likewise subject to its effect.
No creature can be affected by this
spell more than once per casting,
regardless of the number of times that
the area of the spell passes over them.

If I got a bag, whit 30 rats.
And I got CONSUMPTIVE FIELD as a Persistent spell, will I then could get +2x30 in Str. bonus ? +30d8 temp. hp too..

+ anything i can end up kill, or nearly kill, over the rest of the day ...

Because That can end up whit something my DM wouldn't allow, but well .. It will always could give us a bit of laught if I run around whit a +30 str mod. :P

IIRC, Persist Spell was Erratad to say that you can only persist spells with a range of personal. When I remember how to find the Erratas I will get back to you on that.

But, while I'm here, Shield of Faith. First level spell, gives you deflection to AC without using an item.

Also, on a humorous note, Switch one of your domains to the Animal domain for when you get 9th level spells, since a persistant Shapechange is really fun.

Persist the 4th level spell Fiery Vision.

Then you can do your own thing, hit people with your mace or whatever, plus shoot two beams of fire from your eyes as a swift action each round.

In my opinion, the bonus fighter feat and martial weapons aren't worth the lost CL, but that's just me.

Note that you can extend persisted spells, which makes them last 48 hours and thus lets you persist twice as many at any given time.

Divine Power, Divine Favor, Righteous Wrath of the Faithful, Lesser Mass Vigor, Recitation, and Righteous Might are all great persistable spells.
