| #1jknevittJun 13, 2008 9:51:20 | Okay, so I have a game tomorrow with a new group, and I just don't have time to put a character together. Can anyone help with an 8th level (or equivalent) knife-fighter style character? Standard point buy is fine. It's FR campaign, so most options are allowed. I'm thinking of a shadar-kai rogue backstabby knife-fighter type, but I'd like to be able to optimize things like sneak attack and ability to actually do a sneak attack. Is something other than a shadar-kai would fit, please feel free to sub in something else. HELP! |

While Shadar-kai are one of my favorite races, I would suggest something on the lower LA side. (Edit: Going back and looking at the book, they have an ECL of +4; +1 LA, 3 HD. If Hide in Plain sight, and +1d6 SA are worth that then by all means go for it) |
