| #2jameswilliamogleMar 20, 2008 11:17:37 | Strongheart Halfling Rogue 3 / Ranger 2 / Trapsmith 5 / Rogue +5 Feats: 1,b Grenadier, Two-Weapon Fighting 3,b Quickdraw, Track 4b Rapid Shot 6 Mad Alchemist 9 Improved Two-Weapon Fighting 12 Poison Expert 15 Poison Master Make sure to pick Fabricate for spells known from Trapsmith, and max out Int, craft alchemy, and craft poisonmaking. This guy can unload 7 Alchemist Fires per round if he finds himself in a fight, doing potentially an extra 4d6 sneak attack (all touch attacks, too). Fabricate reduces your craft time to 10 minutes. |
| #3nantorMar 20, 2008 11:23:58 | Thank u mr... where i can find mad alchemist, and poison expert and Poison Master |
| #4jameswilliamogleMar 20, 2008 11:48:02 | The former is in PHB 2 and the latter two are in Complete Scoundrel. There's not a lot of supplemental info for this kind of character, unfortunately, but Complete Adventurer has a bunch of rules on poisonmaking. Good luck! |

(It's a halfling feat that allows someone to throw alchemist's fire, frost, spark or acid and affect a second target within 5 ft. Additionally, the splash damage doesn't affect any 5 ft. squares you want to skip, in case allies are present!) Each Alchemist's Fire will affect up to 2 targets fully, if they are within 5 ft., and the splash will avoid your allies, if any are nearby. Not too shabby! |

In addition, if you can, try to work in Power Throw into the build. Adding your full BAB onto the damage is freakin' hilarious! Now our alchemist fires are up to 5d6 + 13 damage, and we have 7 per turn... that's still at L15, and 35d6 + 91 damage (213.5 average)... even better, since they're all touch attacks, they're very likely to hit . Is 175 gp worth taking down a CR 15 monster in 1 round? Heck yeah! (OK, I'm getting a little excited...) |
| #8plaguewraithMar 20, 2008 15:54:47 | artificer X/ alchemist savant x gives poison use, poison combined with alchemical items, and spell vials |
| #9naanomiMar 20, 2008 18:57:20 | artificer X/ alchemist savant x Make it a halfling, tack on alchemical master for cross setting goodness, throw icky single target spells at two adjacent targets (or throw heals at two adjacent allies...) |
